(October 24, 2025) — In a game played on September 26, 2025, the Haddam-Killingworth High School football team took a 15-10 lead into the locker room at halftime on the strength of rushing touchdowns by Tyler Napierkowski and Jon Slane. But the Cougars could not hold off Weaver/Hartford Public/Classical in the second half, as the Hartford co-op (1-1) scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to take the lead for good. Slane also had an interception for the HKHS Cougars (2-1).
