(October 15, 2026) — On October 15, 2026, the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Soccer team faced their second strong opponent in two days. Morgan of Clinton scored first in the 21st minute, but HKHS came right back when Nolan Eddinger headed in a free kick to tie the game.
Morgan made the score 2-1 in the 30th minute, and that stood until halftime. Morgan made it 3-1 just four minutes into the second half, but HKHS did not give up. The Cougars put extensive pressure on the Morgan defense, hitting the crossbar three times in the game. Then, in the 63rd minute, Nolan Sheppard took a great pass from Tristen Edwards and put in the Cougars’ second goal. At 3-2, HKHS kept pushing, but Morgan managed to score one more time on a long shot into the corner of the goal for a final score of 4-2.
Next up for the Cougars is Waterford High School on October 17, 2026.
