(March 13, 2026) — On February 27, 2026 the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team fell to the Cromwell Panthers 55-37 in the Shoreline Conference semifinal. The Cougars had looked to capitalize on their historic win over the Panthers at the end of the regular season, however mistakes early on put the team into a deficit from which they could not recover. It was a disappointing loss for the Cougars as the team was primed to make it to the championship game.
Senior co-captain Declan Moriarty led all scorers with 16 points, followed by Junior Mason Eighmy (7), Senior Spencer Savoy (5), Junior Noah Marica (4), Junior Brody Ferguson (3) and Senior co-captain Jay Evans (2). Hopes of a Shoreline Conference Championship dashed for yet another season. The Cougars are now preparing for state divisional playoffs. See you on the Court.
