(February 10, 2026) — On February 4, 2026 the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team was defeated by the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, 50-46. Against a team over which the Cougars typically prevail, HKHS struggled to find answers to Aerospace in the 1st and 2nd quarters.

An HK rally in 3rd and 4th fell short as the team was unable to overcome the slow start. The Cougars were led by Junior Brody Ferguson with 12 points. Senior co-captains Jay Evans and Declan Moriarty contributed 10 and 5 points, respectively. Junior Noah Marica continued to improve upon this game, scoring 10 points and pulling down multiple rebounds. Also scoring for the Cougars, Senior Spencer Savoy (3), Senior Ethan Pitts (4), and Junior Mason Eighmy (2). The Cougars are now 10 – 5 on the season. See you on the Court.
