(June 12, 2024) — The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut proudly announces its 19th Annual Tee-Off for Epilepsy Golf Benefit, an event that has been instrumental in supporting individuals living with epilepsy and their families.
This year’s event, taking place on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Lyman Orchards Golf Club, marks the continuation of a tradition of charity, community and camaraderie.
The Tee-Off for Epilepsy Golf Benefit, formerly known as Andrew’s Golf Benefit, will start at 9:00 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast, offering participants the opportunity to network and gear up for an exciting day ahead.
The shotgun start will be at 10:30 a.m. The 18-hole challenge will be accompanied by a BBQ lunch, golf contests, and an opportunity to win a brand new car. The game will be followed by a tasting from Litchfield Distillery, a 50/50 raffle, and a teacup raffle with lots of fun prizes. We will wrap up with a dinner and awards ceremony to celebrate the day’s achievements.
“The Tee-Off for Epilepsy Golf Benefit is more than just a game. It’s a powerful way to connect with others and support a cause that touches so many lives,” says Elizabeth Styblo, EFCT’s Development Coordinator. “It’s an opportunity to stand in solidarity with the one in twenty-six people who will develop epilepsy in their lifetime and to contribute to a future where epilepsy is fully understood, well managed, and stigma-free.”
Registration for the event is $180 per person. The registration fee includes the green fees, a golf cart, golfer gift, breakfast, lunch, and reception. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, enabling the organization to provide essential services, resources, and education to those affected by epilepsy.
The Foundation’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with epilepsy is at the heart of this annual gathering. We invite you to mark your calendars for July 19, 2024 and join us for a memorable day of golf, giving and goodwill.
