Nathaniel B. Field Memorial Foundation Wins Grant from Eversource

Submitted by Marie and Howie Field

(March 30, 2024) — The Nathaniel B. Field Memorial Foundation, Inc. received a $1000 grant from the Eversource Energy Foundation, Inc. on March 28, 2024.

This grant will be used to support our continuing initiatives bringing motivational/educational speakers to our local schools including, but not limited to, Haddam-Killingworth Middle School and High School, Strong Middle School and Coginchaug Regional High School, John Winthrop Middle School and Valley Regional High School, and Beaman Middle School and Middletown High School.

Through their generous support, it is our hope that the activities and events our Foundation pursues will get us closer to achieving our mission statement and ultimately save lives.

If you are a staff member or a parent of a student in a local middle or high school, and you are interested in having a speaker perform at your school, please contact Marie Field at NBFMF@comcast.net or on our website http://www.nathanielfield.org

The mission of the Nathaniel B. Field Memorial Foundation, Inc. is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, to reduce the stigma of mental illness, and to provide hope and support.
