(August 9, 2023) — Recently I was visiting with friends and was asked if I could identify an object they had in their home.
It is one of the strangest items I have ever seen, and try as I might, I could not figure it out.
It is not very large, maybe 4 inches in diameter. The hooks that encircle it are on small hinges and can move up and over the ring they are suspended from. It appears to be stainless steel, but that’s just a guess!
As we talked over the possibilities, we agreed that our readers might like to take a guess, too.
