The Haddam Public Works Department will be mowing the roadside.
(August 9, 2023) — If there are flowers in front of your property that you don’t want mowed down by the roadside mower, PLEASE FIND A WAY TO MARK IT. The Public Works Crew has no way of knowing if they are wildflowers or any other planting. If it’s hanging in the road and looks like the rest of the roadside, it’s getting mowed.
If the planting is causing a sight line issue, the planting will come down regardless.
