(January 8, 2026) — Liberty Bank has received the 2025 Corporate Leadership Award from Prospanica CT, an association for Hispanic MBAs and business professionals. Prospanica CT empowers and enables Hispanic professionals to achieve their full education, economic and social potential.

The Corporate Leadership Award recognizes Liberty Bank’s contributions, commitment and engagement with Prospanica’s mission and community, and it was presented at the organization’s Destino Awards Gala held in Newington this past December. Prospanica’s annual event is dedicated to honoring individuals and organizations making a significant impact in business and education and fostering Hispanic advancement.

“At Prospanica, we believe that corporate leadership is about more than business success—it’s about creating pathways for Hispanic professionals to thrive,” said Noemi Rodriguez, President, Prospanica CT. “Liberty Bank exemplifies this commitment through its dedication to career development, community engagement, and inclusive opportunities. Their partnership helps us advance our mission of empowering Hispanic talent to reach their full potential.”

Liberty Bank President and CEO David W. Glidden thanked Prospanica for this incredible honor.

“We work every day to ensure that everyone, including Hispanic individuals, has opportunities to both secure employment and enhance their careers,” Glidden said. “At Liberty, career growth and development are always a top priority. That’s why we take great pride in helping our teammates succeed in the workplace, grow their careers here and become impactful leaders in our communities. We are honored to be recognized for our efforts.”

Established in 1825, Liberty Bank has $8.7 billion in assets, 51 retail banking offices across Connecticut and Massachusetts. As a full-service financial institution, Liberty offers consumer and commercial banking, treasury management, home mortgages, business loans and investment services. Named ‘Top Workplace’ by the Hartford Courant every year since 2012; designated a 2021, 2022 and 2023 Best-In-State Bank in Connecticut by Forbes Magazine; and received J.D.
