My wife, Debbie, and I moved to Haddam in 2005 after building a house in the Tylerville section of town. We’ve lived in Haddam for over 20 years and enjoy spending time with our two children and two grandchildren.
I’ve been on the Board of Finance since April 2024. I bring more than four decades of financial expertise and a strong sense of stewardship to the role. I’m committed to ensuring that Haddam’s tax dollars are spent wisely, balancing fiscal responsibility with thoughtful investment in the town’s future.
I was raised in Old Saybrook, graduated from Xavier High School in 1976, followed by the University of Connecticut in 1980. I was a mortgage banker for nearly 43 years and spent the last 18 years of my career with Citizens Bank. I retired in 2024. For most of my career, I worked with banks, credit unions and independent mortgage bankers across New England and New York, helping them to sell closed mortgage loans to Citizens Bank. Some of these loyal customers had been selling loans to me for more than 30 years. And since I’m a numbers guy who loves sales, this was a perfect career for me.
