(February 10, 2026) — On February 3, 2026 the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team lost to Shoreline Conference rival North Branford, 63-55. It was a disappointing loss for the Cougars who easily prevailed over North Branford for its season opener.
HKHS was led by Senior co-captain Declan Moriarty, who had 19 points including 5 three-pointers, and Senior powerhouse Spencer Savoy. who chipped in with a career high 19 points as well. Strong offensive performances by Moriarty and Savoy were not enough to propel the Cougars to victory despite outscoring North Branford in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Also contributing for HKHS, Senior Pierce Goodison (2), Senior Ethan Pitts (2), Junior Mason Eighmy (5) and Junior Brody Ferguson (8). The Cougars are now 10-4 on the season. See you on the Court.
