Swing Bridge Update: Week of October 16, 2023

(October 16, 2023) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has issued the following construction advisory for work on the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge during the week of October 15, 2023: 

63-Hour Bridge Closure:

• There is no 63-hour bridge closure schedule for this week. The next 63-hour bridge closure is scheduled from October 22, 2023 to October 25, 2023.

Overnight Bridge Closures

There will be overnight bridge closures this week on the following schedule:

Monday night (10/16) into Tuesday morning (10/17) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Tuesday night (10/17) into Wednesday morning (10/18) – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Wednesday night (10/18) into Thursday morning (10/19) – 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
