(May 18, 2023) — Haddam Seniors are invited to take part in a community event planned especially for the town’s older residents: The Haddam Senior Picnic. It will be a good time to enjoy picnic fare, to chat with other seniors, to listen to good entertainment, to see old friends and maybe to make some new ones – and all at no cost to those attending. So, let me first give you the particulars about the picnic:
Haddam Senior Picnic
Monday, June 19, 2023
(rain or shine)
11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
(lunch served at noon)
St. James Parish Hall
501 Killingworth Road
(corner of Route 81 and Little City Road)
Higganum
The picnic is planned by Haddam’s Committee on Aging and funded by the Town. In order to plan ahead, an RSVP is required, along with a refundable-deposit of $5.00. How it works: When you make your reservation with one of the planners mentioned below you should also provide a $5 deposit. On the day of the picnic, when you arrive at the picnic location, $5 is returned. (It’s just meant to help the Committee plan correctly for your participation.) Here are some contact possibilities for your consideration, to sign up or to ask for more information:

The Committee on Aging invites you to join in this special activity. Hot dogs and hamburgers, along with other picnic foods, will be served. We’ll have musical entertainment by Jon Conti. It is hoped that many of us will be able to get together, share the early summer weather, and enjoy one another’s company for an afternoon. So, please join us.
