(March 29, 2024) — The Rockfall Foundation has announced the award of a 2024 Environmental Grant to Everyone Outside.
Everyone Outside fosters environmental stewardship and works to ensure that outdoor experiences are available to all, regardless of financial means. The $3000 grant will support Everyone Outside’s “Farm to Forest” Camp scholarship program, providing local students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and learn about sustainable farming practices.

Campers engage in a variety of activities ranging from forest exploration to farm-based learning at Fire Ring Farm in Portland. They develop practical outdoor skills and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the environment and its preservation.
The Rockfall Foundation’s mission is to support environmental education and conservation in the Lower Connecticut River Valley through environmental programs and grants. The Foundation, one of Connecticut’s oldest environmental organizations, has awarded $705,934 since the inception of its grant program in 1972. It is committed to supporting organizations like Everyone Outside that are making a tangible difference in environmental education and conservation efforts.
