I am writing in support of candidates Tom Hogarty as a Commission Member and Alec Martin as an Alternate for the Killingworth Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z). Both Tom Hogarty and Alec Martin are seeing re-election to a third term.
Tom Hogarty brings valuable experience as a Zoning Enforcement Officer in Branford and as a former member of the Brooklyn, Connecticut P&Z. This professional background has been instrumental in Tom’s contributions to Killingworth’s P&Z.
Alec Martin attended an architectural school in New York City where he studied surveying, design and zoning laws. With his experience as a draftsman in several New York City architectural and engineering offices, Alec brings a unique perspective. Alec has represented Killingworth on the River COG Regional Planning Committee for the past eight years.
As a past member of the Killingworth P&Z, I have had the privilege of working with Member Tom Hogarty and Alternate Member Alec Martin. Tom Hogarty and Alec Martin listen to issues and concerns presented by Killingworth residents in the development of regulations that are best for the Town of Killingworth. Their knowledge and experience are invaluable assets.
Tom Hogarty and Alec Martin have served with distinction and deserve to be re-elected to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
