(October 7, 2023) — On October 28, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., sites around the region will hold Drug Take-Back Day, an event for community residents to dispose of unwanted or unneeded prescription drugs. Local collection sites include:
- East Haddam Resident Trooper at 1 Plains Road in Moodus
- East Hampton Town Hall circular driveway at 1 Community Drive
- Chester Town Hall at 203 Middlesex Avenue
- Nutmeg Pharmacy at 23 Killingworth Road in Higganum
- Tri-Town Youth Services at 56 High Street in Deep River
- Essex Town Hall at 29 West Avenue in Essex
