Killingworth Lions “Barn Raising” Benefit Concert

Submitted by Claudette Lagasse, Killingworth Historical Society

On Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. the Killingworth Lions, with assistance from the Killingworth Historical Society (KHS), will present a benefit concert at the HKMS Auditorium.

This concert features two internationally known bands with Orleans as the main act and Aztec Two-Step opening the show.

KHS is planning a large-scale barn behind its headquarters at the Parmelee Farm Homestead in order to better host events and to house/display their collection of historic Killingworth artifacts.

Roughly 50% of the funding is in place and the Lions are helping KHS reach their goal.  Previous Lions Benefit Concerts included Judy Collins, Gordon Lightfoot, Richie Havens and Arlo Guthrie.

Information on how to get tickets or how your business or family can advertise in the Concert Program is at www.killingworthlions.org
