Vinnie Scileppi, owner of Illiano’s restaurant on South Main Street in Middletown and Haddam resident, teamed up with the Middletown Police last night. Vinnie donated the food and Middletown Police officers hand delivered meals to anyone who was interested in the Traverse Square, Green Street, and North End areas on Wednesday evening, August 18, 2021.
“We try to help the community as often as we can,” said Vinnie. “With all of the negativity in the world today we thought it would be a great way for the community and police department to work together and shed some positivity.”
