(December 1, 2023) — The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary has donated $500 to the Haddam Fuel Bank.

The funds resulted from the Vendor Fair that took place on November 5, 2023 at the Firehouse. The donation was given on November 28, 2023, which happened to be “Giving Tuesday.”
During the Auxiliary’s visit, there were so many other people coming in with donations of food and money. It was heartwarming to see. I love our community. The HVFC Auxiliary wishes to thank that same community for supporting the Vendor Fair for the past thirteen years. The proceeds have always gone to the Fuel Bank, and we hope to grow enthusiasm in the coming years for more vendor participation with locally made products.
