(April 1 ,2024)—Â Cheyenne LaTouche paced the Haddam-Killingworth High School Softball team to an opening game win, 13-1, over Westbrook/Old Saybrook on March 30, 2024.
LaTouche collected three hits, scored four runs, and had three runs batted in. The Cougars benefitted from nine Westbrook/Old Saybrook walks and seven hits for the five-inning mercy-rule victory.
Sophomore pitcher Emma Giaccone picked up the win for HKHS, recording six strikeouts and allowing only three hits in five innings.
