Baseball 2024: HKHS Defeats Notre Dame in State Tournament Game

(May 31, 2024) — Matt Shea pitched seven innings of one-hit ball, allowing two runs and striking out nine, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Notre Dame by a score of 8-2 in state tournament play.

Todd Butler had two hits and two RBI, and Blake Kamoen had a two-run triple in the sixth inning to lead the Cougars. Ryan Marko had the lone hit for Notre Dame. HK next plays on June 1, 2024, at home, in the quarterfinal round of the state tournament.
