Baseball 2023: HKHS Defeats SMSA 2-0

(May 16, 2023) — Blake Kamoen went the distance, striking out eleven, and pitching a four-hit shutout for Haddam Killingworth High School 2-0 over Sports and Medical Sciences Academy (SMSA) of Hartford on May 13, 2023. Callen Powers and Todd Butler each drove in a run for the Cougars. Liam Gordon and Kamoen had two hits each for HK. Mayer was the tough-luck loser for SMSA, pitching all seven innings.
