(May 16, 2023) — The two-time defending Shoreline Conference Champion Haddam Killingworth Cougars Boys Varsity Lacrosse team dominated out-of-conference foe Saint Bernard on May 13, 2023, winning 16-3. With the win, the Cougars moved their record to an imposing 12-2, 8-2 in the conference.
Senior Alex Phipps tallied three goals and two assists on the day. Senior Nolan Braren notched three goals. Freshman Spencer Savoy tallied three goals and two assists. Freshman Finn O’Hanlon scored two goals. Senior Aaron McLeod scored two goals. Freshman Ethan Pitts scored one goal. Sophomore Gunnar Howes scored one goal and one assist. Junior d-pole Charlie Maxwell scored one goal. Junior goalie Braden Civiello made ten saves. Junior Cooper Pitts won 13 of 17 face offs, and Freshman Josh Firth won three of four.
Up next for the Cougars is Valley Regional.
