The Haddam Town-Wide Tag Sale will take place at Haddam Elementary School and around town on Saturday, June 13, 2020 (rain date Sunday, June 14) beginning at 8:00 a.m. The Haddam Junior Women’s Club fundraising efforts from this event and others allows them to give a scholarship to a college-bound Haddam senior, and to donate to many worthy non-profit service organizations in town.
This year, there will be vendors in the Haddam Elementary School parking lot, along with a portable toilet. The map, which contains participating locations around town will be available at HES, next to a donation jar (in case you want to donate to the HJWC). This year’s map will contain a coupon for Deb’s Restaurant. While you are out and about around town, stop by for a snack or lunch from one of the participating organizations. Many organizations around town are participating, including:
- Haddam Historical Society
- Haddam Garden Club (plant sale at HES)
- Haddam Junior Women’s Club
- Haddam Lion’s Club
- St. Peter’s Church
- Teri’s Package Store
To get on the map, the fee is $25. There are still a few spaces available at HES. Spaces there are 1 for $25, 2 for $45 or 3 for $60. If you are interested in getting your house/organization on the map, this year you can pay the fee via Venmo @HaddamJuniorWomensClub.
