Connecticut’s 16th State Troubadour, Kate Callahan is one of the most awarded songwriters in the state receiving the Woman of Character from the Hartford Courant, Best Singer- Songwriter in Connecticut from the CT Now readers poll in 2017 and Artist of the Year in 2014 from the Greater Hartford Arts Council. She gives a concert of compelling original folk music plus songs by Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. Kate Callahan has shared the stage with songwriters Judy Collins, Noel Paul Stokey from Peter, Paul and Mary, the late Bill Morrissey and Aztec Two Step.
