(September 4, 2026) — Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisans Store presents its annual Focus on Fall exhibition, opening on September 18, 2026 and continuing through November 7, 2026. The annual Autumn exhibit brings together fine art and handcrafted work inspired by the colors, textures, atmosphere, and natural transformations of the Fall season in New England.

Through painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fine craft, and seasonal artisan pieces, artists explore Autumn’s changing foliage, landscapes, light, weather, wildlife, and harvest imagery, from brilliant color and abundance to the quieter transition toward winter.

The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, September 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests can explore the exhibition and Artisans Store while enjoying wine and refreshments. The celebration continues during the Open House Weekend on Saturday, September 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Reception and Open House offer an ideal introduction to the exhibition for longtime collectors, visitors searching for an original seasonal piece or gift, and those who want to experience art reflecting the landscape and atmosphere of the fall season.

As always, Spectrum’s Artisans Store offers new pottery, glass, fiber, home décor, jewelry, clothing, and accessories, as well as children’s books and toys. Spectrum Art Gallery is located at 61 Main Street in Centerbrook. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m.
