(January 16, 2026) — On January 15, 2026, the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys basketball team improved to 8-1 on the season with a 62 -46 win over Wheeler. Player of the game Declan Moriarty led all scorers with 17, though it was an all-around team effort.
The Cougars continued to see solid defensive play from Juniors Noah Marica and Kody Lehet, who led the team in rebounds. Marica and Lehet each had 8 points. Seniors Pierce Goodison and Jay Evans contributed 6 and 7 points, respectively, while Senior Ethan Pitts had 6. Rounding out the scoring were Juniors Mason Eighmy with 6, and Brody Ferguson with 4. The Cougars looks to continue their winning streak away on January 16, 2026 at Old Saybrook. JV at 5:30 p.m., Varsity at 7:00 p.m. See you on the court.
