Essex Bank Announces Promotion of Leslie McKillip

Submitted by Lucas Fumiatti, Essex Bank

(October 30, 2025) — Leslie McKillip, a thirty-year veteran of the banking industry, has
been promoted from Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer to Vice President/Senior
Commercial Loan Officer.

In her lengthy career, McKillip has worked for several financial institutions and held many
positions, including Branch Manager, Small Business Relationship Manager and Commercial
Lender. She joined the Essex Bank team in 2022, drawing on her substantial banking and
leadership experience to expand existing connections and form new ones. She has become a valuable mentor to her colleagues.

A Connecticut local through and through, McKillip graduated Cum Laude from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven. She is a board member and secretary of HOPE Partnership, a nonprofit dedicated to affordable housing. “We’re so proud of all that Leslie’s done in her time here,” President and CEO Diane Arnold comments. “This promotion rewards her diligent work and commitment to our community.”
