(October 18, 2025) — The community is invited to an Eagle Scout dedication at Sheldon Park, 199 Deep River Road in Killingworth on November 9, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. There will be a short ceremony with a BBQ picnic to follow.
Let’s join Troop 18 Eagle Scout Ethan Pitts by celebrating his project and his contribution to the community. He built a fishing dock (photo above) at Sheldon Park after finding it difficult to fish there due to all the weeds. He developed a dock solution to improve fishing and access for the community.
