(November 2, 2026) — Over the course of two weekends, Scouts from Killingworth Boy Scout Troop 18 worked to renovate the Informational Kiosk at Parmelee Farm. The Killingworth Historical Society asked the Troop to rehabilitate the kiosk after more than a decade of exposure to the elements.

The Kiosk was originally constructed by Chad Golembeski in 2010, (a member of Troop 18) for his Eagle Project. The scouts cleaned, power-washed, landscaped and stained the kiosk, refreshing Chad’s contribution to the community.
