(May 30, 2025) — From May 16, 2025 to May 18, 2025, members of Killingworth Boy Scout Troop 18 and Pack 18 attended and camped out at ConnJam at the Orange Fairgrounds. (photo below)
The scouts enjoyed an event-packed weekend that included exhibits from various skilled trades, demonstrations from local craftsmen, a landing by U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, and activities such as zip lines and rock climbing. The culmination was a fireworks display on Saturday evening.
On May 27, 2025, Troop 18 participated in their annual bike night, led by Matt Link. The scouts learned about bicycle safety and practiced technical skills on the roads and trails at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth.
