Spring 2025 Programs at Sacred Heart on the Lake

(March 23, 2025) — The following programs and events will take place in April, May and June at the Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center, 194 Candlewood Hill Road in Higganum.

FILM STUDY  “BABETTE’S FEAST”

Wednesday, April 2, 2025/10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The film has religious overtones as two spinster sisters from a small village in Denmark take in a French refugee as their servant.  The plot revolves around who she is and what she brings to the community. Discussion will be led by Jim Pepitone. A free will donation will be welcomed. NEW DAY SEMINAR FOR THE BEREAVED

9 Thursdays from April 24, 2025  through June 19, 2025/10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The New Day Seminar is a nine week series that helps those who have lost a loved one with the tasks of grieving.  Each session provides a place and time for individuals to share their grief stories and to learn about the grieving process and its tasks for healing. DIVINE MERCY DEVOTION AND ST. FAUSTINA PRESENTATION
