Haddam Annual Town Meeting: January 22, 2025

(January 16, 2025) — The electors and citizens qualified to vote at Town Meetings are hereby warned and notified that the Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Firehouse Community Hall located at 439 Saybrook Road in Higganum on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. for the following purposes:

1. To Choose a Moderator to preside over such meeting and to consider and act upon the following:

2. To consider and accept the Annual Town Report for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and;

3. To consider and vote on the Resolution for approval of the 2024 Connectivity Grant for Higganum Center Connections and;

4. To consider and vote on the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 transfer from General Fund to CNR – Unallocated in the amount of $1,000,075 and;

5. To consider and vote on the transfer of $20,000 from CNR – Unallocated for additional costs for the HES Roof Replacement and;

6. To consider and vote on transfer funds between previously approved Capital Nonrecurring projects in Account 200 and 201, Haddam and Haddam Neck Volunteer Fire Companies, in an amount as recommended by the Board of Finance and;

7. To fill the vacancy for a board member on the Regional District # 17 Board of Education and;

8. To do any and all things legal and necessary to accomplish the above-named purposes, and take any other action that may legally and properly come before the meeting.
