KVFC’s Refurbished Heavy Rescue Truck

(January 18, 2024) — After a two year process, the Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company took delivery on January 18, 2024 of its refurbished Heavy Rescue truck. Gowans-Knight of Watertown placed a new cab and chassis under the original body from 1994. This truck responds to all fire and motor vehicle accidents in town, and is best known for carrying the “Jaws of Life” extrication tools.
