The Sound of Music features a trove of cherished songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do Re Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” and the title number, this classic tale won the hearts of audiences worldwide.

The original 1959 Broadway production earned five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the equally acclaimed 1965 film musical starring Julie Andrews won
five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The Sound of Music will be presented at the HKHS auditorium on Friday May 5, and Saturday May 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission and are now on sale.
