(November 5, 2023) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has issued a reminder that a 63-hour road closure at the Haddam-East Haddam Swing Bridge will commence Sunday, November 5, 2023.The scheduled time for this closure will be from Sunday (11/5) at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday (11/8) at 11:00 a.m.Pedestrians and cyclist are advised that during this 63-hour closure, the bridge will be closed to them as well.Inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances could cause a cancellation of the 63-hour road closure.To review the 63-hour closure calendar click hereOvernight Bridge Closures:Be advised that in addition to the 63-hour bridge closure, the contractor will also be performing overnight bridge closures this week as follows:
- Wednesday night (11/8) into Thursday morning (11/9) – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Thursday night (11/9) into Friday morning (11/10) – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
