Middlesex Health to Offer In-Person Tobacco Cessation Program

MIDDLETOWN — Middlesex Health is offering a six-class tobacco cessation program in Middletown. Classes will be held in person — not virtual, and they will be held weekly beginning April 4.

Each week, class will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. The exact location of the classes will be given once registration is complete.

This program is made possible through a grant from the City of Middletown. You do not have to live in Middletown to participate, but you must be 18 or older.

Juul e-cigarette

Participants in this tobacco cessation program will learn how to deal with triggers and cravings. They will also learn to manage withdrawal symptoms and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and they will learn about e-cigarettes and the dangers of firsthand and secondhand smoke.

For more information, or to register, call 860-358-5426.
