The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Softball team defeated Lyme-Old Lyme on Monday, May 9, 2022, by a score of 14-0.
HK’s Brooke Hickman pitched 3 scoreless innings, striking out 7, and hit a 2-run homer and 3 hits total, to lead HK to its 14th win of the season. Annabella Zajac, and Keira Czarkowski had 3 hits each for HK, while Cheyenne LaTouche reached base 4 times and had 4 RBI. Victoria Gage had two of Lyme-Old Lyme’s 3 hits. Old Lyme drops to 11-4 on the year.
