(May 4, 2023) — Regional School District #17 (RSD17) invites residents of Haddam and Killingworth to an important Community Conversation for Master Planning on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Haddam-Killingworth High School Auditorium.
RSD17 is focused on achieving its vision and fulfilling the components of the Vision of the Graduate. To that end, the district is creating a Master Plan to guide the district over the next 20+ years. The Master Plan considers teaching and learning needs, the state of the facilities, available land/buildings, and a demographic study.
During the Community Conversation, RSD17 administration will provide an overview of the District’s current master planning process and ask for feedback and suggestions. This is an initial step to gather input and hear from community members about their goals and priorities for RSD17 schools.
