I am pleased to announce the launch of a district webpage housing a myriad of resources. Equity and Social Justice Website. The intent of this site is to inform students, staff, and families about the actions taking place in our district to promote diversity and inclusion. The resources on this page provide a mechanism for engaging our classrooms, families and the community in productive and positive dialogue.
Editor’s Note: The website includes an action plan, additional steps the district will take, as well as resources for parents, teachers and the community on how to talk to children about race, racism and teaching tolerance. The website also includes a diverse reading list for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
