At 2:25 a.m. on Dec. 3, 2020, Haddam Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to Route 9 North under the Christian Hill Road overpass for a two-car motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment. Upon arrival, crews noted that the drivers of both vehicles had self-extricated.
The patients were evaluated on scene by EMS personnel, and one patient was transported to Hartford Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service (HVAS).
The accident is under investigation by Connecticut State Police.
