(June 24, 2023)—Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1:40 a.m. this morning (June 24) on Route 9 South near the Beaver Meadow Road (Exit 13). A driver veered off the road and struck a mile marker sign and several guard rail posts. Crews from Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc. evaluated the driver on scene. The driver refused additional medical treatment.
