(April 20, 2023) — Haddam Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank Robert Gallitto and Gallitto Construction LLC of Middletown for donating a truckload of topsoil to the company in March. After an extensive spring cleaning on the company grounds—which involved removing many dead bushes and brush—HVFC used the soil to fill in bare spots near the upper parking lot areas. Grass seed has been planted in these areas. The remaining soil will be used for future landscaping projects this summer.
