(September 22, 2022)—Members of Haddam Volunteer Fire Company provided 270 man-hours of standby fire and EMS coverage last week at the Durham Fair.
Working in small teams, members walked the perimeter of the fair every hour throughout the four-day event looking for any hazardous conditions. They also assisted with multiple medical emergencies and a propane leak.
While at “base,” members welcomed fair-goers to check out the apparatus and provided children with truck tours.
