At 7:15 p.m. Oct. 10, 2019, Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident on Beaver Meadow Road near Ranger Road where a driver had struck a tree. The driver was able to self-extricate with help from firefighters and was transported to Hartford Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service.
Crews closed a section of Beaver Meadow Road during the incident.
