Girls Swim 2019: HKHS Narrowly Defeated by Middletown

The Haddam-Killingworth High School Girls Swim Team was narrowly defeated by Middletown yesterday, Oct. 10, 2019 at home, with a final score of H-K 80, Middletown 88. H-K swimmers had State Championship qualifying times in three individual events and several had lifetime fastest swims.

Top 3 finishes for H-K:

200 Medley Relay

  • 2nd: A relay (Kristen Thebeau, Julia Dattilo, Johanna Houska, Tara Lamb)

200 Freestyle

  • 1st: Erin Marica 2:18.75
  • 3rd: Grace Purcell 2:35.69

50 Freestyle

  • 1st: Nina Lamb 26.50 (time qualifies for State Championships)

100 Butterfly

  • 2nd: Johanna Houska 1:18.56
  • 3rd: Kristen Thebeau 1:25.72

100 Freestyle

  • 1st: Nina Lamb 59.25 (time qualifies for State Championships)

  • 3rd: Tara Lamb 6:43.31

  • 1st: A Relay (Grace Purcell, Julia Dattilo, Erin Marica, Nina Lamb)
