(April 29, 2024) — Four HKTV Seniors—Damen Ridgeway, Mason Mazzotta, David Sargent, and Christopher Palmieri—have achieved great success in the 2024 Teen Safe Driving Video Contest!                                                                                            Â

Sponsored by the Department of Motor Vehicles and Travelers, the contest saw our students impress the judges and win Second Place Overall, as well as the award for Best Call To Action. Out of 140 impressive submissions, their PSA focused on educating teens about safe driving practices.

As a result of their hard work and dedication, Haddam-Killingworth High School has been awarded $5,500 in prize money. Additionally, the four talented students will be splitting $1,800 among themselves. The 2024 Teen Safe Driving Contest Awards Celebration took place on April 23, 2024, at the Travelers Plaza.
