(April 11, 2024)— The Haddam Killingworth High School Softball team defeated East Hampton 15-0 on April 10, 2024, behind Emma Giaccone’s one-hit shutout.
Emma struck out eight over four innings to pick up her fifth victory of this season. The Cougars were paced by Caley Napoletano with three hits, four runs batted in and three runs scored. Catcher Grace Natanzon also added three hits, including a home run. HK’s Keira Czarkowski also had three hits and three RBI.
The Cougars go to 5-0, while East Hampton falls to 0-3.
