(December 22, 2023) —Â After an exciting home opener win over East Hampton, and the first home opener win in eight years, the HK Boys Basketball team dropped its second straight game, losing to Granby 59-34 .
HK was led by Junior Cody Robinson with seven points, followed by Declan Moriarty and Sophomore sensation Spencer Savoy each with six points. Junior Joe Slane continues to demonstrate strong defensive skills with three rebounds and five points. Senior Bryce O’Linn also contributed with four points and strong defense. Junior Andrew Crayton had five rebounds and three assists and Freshman Noah Marica showed strength under the boards with five rebounds.
HK now sits at 1-2. Up next: HK at North Branford on December 22, 2023. Freshmen at 3:00 p.m., JV at 4:30 p.m., Varsity at 6:00 p.m. Please note, the game will be played at Jerome Harrison Elementary School Gym due to on-going construction at North Branford High School. See you on the court.
