Baseball 2023: HKHS Defeats Valley 3-2

(April 14, 2023) — Todd Butler pitched two scoreless innings of relief to get his first win of the season, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Valley Regional 3-2 on April 10, 2023. The Cougars tied the score in the fifth when Ryan Erskine and Jackson Pray both singled and eventually scored on a bases-loaded walk and a fielder’s choice to tie the game. In the seventh, Alex Blade was hit by a pitch, advanced on a sacrifice by Joe Giaccone, then scored on a single by Blake Kamoen. Braeden Sparaco tripled, singled, and scored a run for Valley.
